Autumn Landscapes

Well some of our leaves are changing, some are dead and dropped off and some have to change yet.

We are expecting Tropical storm Nate's remnants to hit here tonight and tomorrow plus its to be rainy most of the week, so I don't know what we will have left for color.

So I thought I would try to find some images today. Some of these scenes you may have seen before, hope you don't mind as I didn't have much time because I have to go to work.

Tobacco harvest is in full swing

Corns and soybeans are ready for harvest too.

some places on the mountains have large areas of yellow trees other parts of the mountain are still green.

Nice fall pictures, even though the colours seem subdued this year.
Absolutely stunning photos - just the kind of places we love to drive through. Have a grand week.
Enjoyed all these PA images which if posted previously, I had also not seen, Felicia. Even though I live in New England now, the fall colors are not yet as colorful as we wojld like. We are still having 80-degree daytime temps.

All of these fall photos are so picturesque! But the one picture with barn and silos in the distance is the best of todays photos to my eye anyway...
Splendid countryside. Some shots look like parts of the UK, though the crops are so different - no corn or tobacco around here!

I hope Tropical Storm Nate does not bring too harsh weather! We had early snow but I'm glad for the moisture after seeing the devastating fires in California. Your photos always bring back good memories to me of my grandparents as they were from eastern Pennsylvania.

Gloriously beautiful snapshots of fall Felicia! I especially love your blog header photo, it is full of color and vibrancy! I'm sorry about the hurricane, I hope there are still some trees that will have leaves to turn color before they fall!

Lovely fall landscapes - you get great colors there!
Just beautiful. Farm country is wonderful to look at when it's almost harvest time. Even the tobacco in the barn is gorgeous (a crop I'm not wild about for all the usual reasons, so I surprised myself thinking how pretty that picture is)...
