Pennsylvania Farm Country

Hello friends.  My what a busy last week I had and this week isn't looking any better either.

Mom and I did manage to take a short road trip on Saturday just to get outside. The weather was perfect, no humidity and gorgeous skies.

They are best viewed if you click to make them bigger.

The first three are of the same farm and so are the last three, just different angles.

This is my favorite.

Which one is your favorite?
Hope you enjoyed our little trip through the Pennsylvania Farm Country.

I'm linking with Tom for THE BARN COLLECTIVE.

Sue at IMAGE-IN-ING

and of course the gang at SKYWATCH FRIDAY

Wishing you all a good week.
Not sure if I'll have much time to visit but I will try.  I'm off to work now very shortly.

All of 'em! Beautiful. But maybe one percent more for the last three.

Oh, Felicia, I needed these...we don't get out and go too much now and I sure miss it. These are all so wonderful!

I can't pick a favourite. Each one has a special element of beauty. The red buildings, green grass, blue sky and just enough white clouds make these pictures perfect.

Amazing pics. Loved the post.

Great views of the sky, barns, hills, and fields.
We don't have big barns like that here. Most of our barns are modern prefab metal buildings. Very functional I am sure but not very scenic.
Oh I love them all but especially the one with the horses - that always gets my vote.

It's hard to pick a favorite. I do like the last one for the doors with the X's and the angle that allow so much to be seen including a peek of the farmhouse. Love the blue sky in all.

What beautiful pictures! Love the country... and those barns are amazing.... love the detail and richness of each scene. :)
My oh my! What a beautiful place. All amazing images and if I had to pick a favorite it would, of course, be the one with the horses.

Gorgeous farms - I remember those beautiful rural scenes when I visited Pennsylvania. I love the weathered look of the farms. As usual, your photography is very beautiful.

I love these pastoral scenes you captured. The barn just stands out.
I adore big weathered red barns, Felicia. They are all so photogenic, but I like the one with the horses in the foreground best.

my favorite is the one with the horses in front :)

I love them all. They are so serene.

Whoa! Such a fine set of 'painterly-like' images. I agree with your choice of favorite...the converging leading lines are quite strong [hedge and grass vis-a-vis the lane lines]. Beautifully composed!!!
I see barn red as the color theme. I see lines. I see sky. I see scenery. Right now I can not pick which one I like the most. Agreed: The set is all painterly like images. Very well done!

I live in upstate New York and I loved all of these pictures. The 6th was my personal favorite, but they were all well composed. Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com

We have the same favorite and the one above is a close second. Did you use a filter, the colors are extraordinary. So much better than what moms and I saw on our trip last Saturday, although we got some great grub.
Wow, tough for me to pick a fav. These are all great images. I do like #4 (with the horses). Picture perfect!!

Hi Felicia-
They are all equally beautiful.
I love the picture with the horses very much.
Have a Happy Weekend!

I agree with Debbie Ray - To hard to pick a favorite. What a charming and picturesque farm this is. I loved all the photos for different reasons.

This farm is a beautiful farm!
From all sides, beautifully pictured.
Some pictures are eligible to make a painting ;-)

Greetings, Helma
Really hard to pick a favorite -- the second one (with the colorful laundry on the line) is fun though! And almost no electricity or phone lines in an of them -- how I love that; only in certain parts of the country! Your photos are always like beautiful paintings.

Love your beautiful photos! The colors and scenery are so gorgeous!
Every time we visit family who live in Lancaster, PA, I have to stop myself (but never do) from taking photo after photo of the barns and countryside. That said, it's difficult for me to select a favorite here. Did you have the same problem?

Like seeing old red barns and their silos! Great shots and beautiful skies!
