Little Poe Creek

Ya'll know that one of my favorite things to do is go explore in the mountains.  And of course when I'm in the mountains exploring, I'm looking for mountain streams with cascades and waterfalls.

We went on a short photo adventure Saturday morning. We only had a few hours to fit it in but we managed.

We had some rain last week so I was hoping the streams would be running full.

This is Little Poe Creek, and it did not disappoint.

See that big fish laying in there.

I guess your tripod proved very useful there Felicia. Very nice images which show your mastery of the camera.

A beautifully captured scene Felicia. I find the moss and lichen in such environments just so captivating - perhaps that comes from living in a very dry State and the inner me yearns for lush greenery all year round!

Oh i love landscapes like this with running waters for low exposure shots. Unfortunately, we don't have much of those here, we only have mostly waterfalls, and we have to travel far to see them.

Wow! You are very good at taking photos. The water flowing looks like a silk water.
Magnificent!!
They remind me of Bev Doolittle paintings...I want to search for some hidden object.
Positively enchanting, Felicia! I expect to see some little gnomes or fairies somewhere in that little glen! xx Karen
