Blueberries Anyone??

Of course you will have to wait till they are done blooming.

I never realized till, I think it was last year or the year before that blueberries bloom in the spring.

Just never thought about it.  They are quite beautiful when viewed through a macro lens.

The images are really best viewed by clicking on the image to view bigger.

This one is not quite in focus, but I wanted you to see side by side how they look before they open and after they open.

going out on a limb and sharing with the gang at
SKYWATCH FRIDAY because the blue you see in
the last 5 images is the sky reflected in a glass to top table that I was photographing on.

Also I will be sharing with MACRO MONDAY 2 when available.

Hope you all have a great weekend.  Make sure you check out the beautiful images at each meme.

My iPhone SE does not do good macro photography so I enjoy seeing this photography on other blogs (if you visit my blog today, know that only the first, Skywatch, picture is mine-others are from a friend). I love blueberries and I like their flowers. Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com

How perfectly beautiful and to think that there will be blueberries from these blossoms!
Do you think this is how ladies bloomers got their name!
Such lovely close up photos :-)
Beautiful captures Felicia! The blooms of several fruits are worth capturing!

I love your close-ups of these blooms. So sweet. Some 20 years ago, a lady my husband worked with would invite us to pick blueberries from her bushes each July 4th. Nothing better than fresh blueberries!

Each of them is special in its own way. My favorite is the last one (light, colours, focus, everything is fine).

The first thought that came to my mind, Felicia, when I saw your post's title was not the beautiful flowers in your post, but "Blueberry Morning" cereal :)

Needless to say, the macros are wonderful.

Have a Happy Weekend!!
Peace :)

Such beautiful shots, Felicia. Blueberry blooms are so pretty, and so are huckleberries which I saw in Washington State. Small but fabulous.
Beautiful close up. I miss my blueberry bushes that my husband's dog ate. I haven't the heart to try again= it took three years to get one to bloom. Have a blessed weekend!

One of the great things about blogland is I get to see sights which are not common here. Your images of these delicate blossoms are delightful. I agree they look like fairy bells!

Lovely shots! I walk through the blueberry woods almost every day, but over here, it's mainly small green leaves that come out.
Gorgeous macro photography! Makes me want to run out and buy a macro lens!!
I didn't realize they had such pretty blooms either! I have just planted my first blueberry plant, but it probably won't bloom until next year. I can't wait. Your picture is a beauty!
That's fun to see Felicia -- I knew but had forgotten about blueberry blossoms" .... our daughter and SIL have lots of bushes, but they are already bearing fruit by the time we get home to Oregon these days. (I help pick... and eat ;>) yum.
Your blueberry bloom photos are really beautiful. Mine are all in bloom right now, I can't wait until the fruit starts to develop.

Hi Felicia,
A macro lens also shows you much more than a regular lens.
I therefore find macro photography very inspiring.
Beautiful photo / s of these berry flowers.
