Into the Wild Blue Yonder

I was on the front porch one evening checking out a sunset when this goose flew by.  So I hastily panned along with the goose and hit the shutter button not expecting to get anything.

After looking at it in lightroom I kinda liked it, so I thought I would share with Stewart for WILD BIRD WEDNESDAY.  You can see he has a feather missing in his wing if you click on the image.

Click here or on the link above the image to join in with Stewart and to see other birds from around the world.

I see you've been sprucing up your blog for spring, Felicia, and it looks awesome as is this shot of the goose overhead in that brilliant blue sky!

Your blog looks so different. I've not heard of draft.blogger before. I am also sometimes surprised at what shows up in a photo.

the result is excellent. I tend to leave my shutter speed high when we're walking so I can grab things without worry about movement-- me or the subject.

Capturing geese flying can be tricky. Nice job with this one and the missing feather detail is really cool. - I also like your banner photo.

How I have missed your photography. Love your new header!! I think that is a great shot, really captures how small is one bird compared with that wide, blue yonder.

Not easy to catch it in focus! I do love your header.

Great image Felicia. That is always a sight I love to see, a bird or birds flying above, especially if I can hear their calls. Great header also.
