Heeelllllpppp!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I finally updated my laptop so I could run LR and PS at the same time.  Only thing now is I'm not sure if I like the display colors of the monitor.  Windows 10 has a built in color calibration and I ran it but am not sure whether it helped.

So I edited in LR till I thought it was white. It may not look right to you though.

So please tell me if the colors (which there are hardly any) render correctly in this image. I guess I'm looking to see if the snow looks white or gray.

Of course there again not every monitor renders color the same way either, so it could look really bad to some of you.

Anyway thanks for the input.

This was from Feb 9th. We have no snow now, it was 75 degrees to day.

Have a great weekend everyone.

For my bad eyes the snow looks white and beautiful (I often think, how may the different screens show the other people my colors - )
Have a nice weekend

it seems very natural for an overcast day so I think it is fine. :) Love your image.

Hello Felicia,
Wonderful picture.
Every PC gives different colors. I hope you have the right one now.

Kind regards,

Beautiful reflection! The snow looks white for me. With so many different displays even if your monitor is correctly calibrated it doesn't mean other people will see what you see, of course, but it should be pretty close. I sometimes notice quite a difference between a computer monitor and an iPad.

What a beautiful snowy scene Felicia and it looks nice and white to me. I find my cell phone pics look brighter and crisper on the phone screen than they do once I load them to my MacBook which is disappointing. Enjoy your balmy temperatures!

The whites look a tad bit over exposed. But great reflection capture.

I totally agree with you about the differing monitor colors and tones. Also displays, period can differ. The display on my old HP laptop was phenomenal but did not realize the difference until I have the Dell I use now. To me, the snow in your gorgeous pic is a bright white and like another commenter said, it looks very much like it was taken on a gray, overcast day. I think you're good! I see your spring has sprung too! ;)

it looks good to me, the white is bright white and the blacks are the gray tones they should be

Absolutely white! The other issue is the different brightness of monitors.

Ugh snow! We've had way more this winter then the previous three or four combined... Time for summer now! Glad to hear your temperatures are up in the 70's today.
Your color setup looks good to me, whites are just right, any whiter and they would look too bright.
