Autumn Scenes ~ Part 1

Well autumn is at its peak here in Pa and Mom and I have been out leaf peeping.

I have made hundreds of images from Oct 18 & 19th so I'll start off tonight with some and share more later. Hope you don't get tired of autumn scenes.

When I first arrived at this spot there was more fog along the mountain than shows here.  I waited here for a good while till it cleared. I didn't mind, this spot is so beautiful and only a few miles from my house. See the moon over top the tall green tree on the right.

Fog along the mountain.

Here the fog is almost gone. I was here so long there are now airplane contrails added to what was there.

I actually came back the next day because the sky had a bit more drama. This was the 19th. Opposite side of the road.

Later in the afternoon of the 18th we snuck over to Big Valley. Spotted these little amish girls on the way home from school. They seen me taking there picture that's why two of them are hiding their faces, seems like the other 3 didn't care.

We were almost home when I spotted this pretty scene.  I seen it as we were going by it. I had to turn around and go back.

On the 19th in the afternoon we went back into the mountains where I made the above two images.

Have you ever heard that quote "The mountains are calling and I must go", well that's pretty much me. I would live in the mountains if I could.

I have many, many more to share if you will permit me too. I have the titles stirring around in the back of my mind.

I'm sharing today with Tex at Run Around Ranch for GOOD FENCES
the gang at SKYWATCH FRIDAY

a BIG thank you to all our hosts' and hostess'.  Make sure you stop over and pay them a visit.

These are some of my favorite photos ever! I love the reflection of the trees in the water, the winding road lined with beautiful trees, and of course, the sweet little girls. The mountain scene is lovely too. We moved to north Georgia in July and we are eagerly awaiting the leaves to fall so that we can enjoy mountain views from our deck. A dream come true for us!
Have a delightful weekend.

Los tonos dorados del otoño se van apoderando de todos los paisajes. La fotografía con las damas que abandona el camino es especialmente buena.
Un saludo,
I can see why you kept clicking the camera - a stunningly beautiful area! The first one is amazing with that little mist in there, and the school girl's capture is so cute!

With so many Fall images, hope you consider giving us one of your thumbnail pics at ALL SEASONS between Sunday and Wednesday. A direct link to my post which opens Sunday 12 am. Hope to see you there!

Felicia one never, ever gets tired of looking at photos of Autumn. The variety of the colors and the shine on the leaves, leaves me in awe. Your photography is absolutely stunning the way you have taken some of those photos reminds me of olden days when times were much simpler and we were closer to nature.

Beautiful photos.. I don't know what it is about the 3rd shot but it struck my heart strings and made it sing. I love the way the road turns and the way the sunlight made the colors so vibrant.

I'm totally captivated by your third scene, the light, the colours. It would make a lovely painting, the road curving away, taking my imagination with it.

Incredible and powerful images you shot... I can feel the depth of your joy just being there getting to experience the light and beauty around you. You have a gift. I think my favorite picture is the one where you went back the second day, the 19th, with the picture of the road winding through the hills. Just captivating. I live and blog in the mountains, and I get what you said about the mountains. I live in them, and I wouldn't have it any other way :) Happy to have visited with you today!
