Scout

This is Scout, the Arboretum cat.  He's a pretty cool, laid back cat.

Right after I captured these images of him drinking from the lily pool, I picked him up and carried him to my Mom where she was sitting waiting for me.

He never struggled, or tried to bite or claw me.  Then he set contentedly on Mom's lap for awhile before jumping down and getting another drink.

His home is across the field from the arboretum but he's hardly ever there.

Love the reflection and the ripples of the water. This looks like a big cat -is it? I know several Felicia-s - are you on FB?
Thanks for visiting me, and have a great weekend!

Well captured!
I know a cat in our public park, she comes every day without to pay for entry and she's very friendly to all the visitors and without fear (my cat would never come to a stranger).
Have a nice weekend

I agree with those who say he is a pretty cat and seems to have a lovely nature to go with his good looks. Love how you captured him (with the camera but also to let your mum see him), the ripples in the water.

Great photos of the cat! He looks and sounds like a nice kitty. We have three cats (1 inside, and 2 outdoors) and they all have very interesting personalities (or should I say catalities!)

awww lovely kitty. I miss my cats, when I moved here from up north I couldnt' bring my two, we arent allowed any pets here and it's very hard to find a rental property that allows them so my best friend has taken them for me.
