Aggravation

UPDATE
Well I have discovered that you do not have to check the Recaptcha box on some blogs. Just try leaving your comment, disregard the box and click publish and see what happens.
I do not think this will work on every blog though.

Ok...so can anyone tell me what all the goofy recaptcha is and all the images you have to click on to verify you are not a robot.

I can't seem to find any info about what is going on, and I'm already AGGRAVATED

It has caused me to leave a few blogs and not leave a comment because it keeps asking me to verify I'm not a robot....arrrrrrrrrgggggghhhhhh.

Ok enough of that. :) A couple of new fence shots from Big Valley from a few weeks ago.

i'm with you on the captcha box. i don't mind when it just asks me if i'm a robot. but, when you have to verify all those pics you can barely see is annoying. and it just keeps going too, sigh... love that second pic. it's a beautiful view. the first looks as though the goat is holding the trailer on its shoulders, lol... have a great night~

such cuties.

have been dealing with the captcha photo thing for months. sometimes i'd think it was tripped into coming on after i visited an international blog. it stays on for a good long (irritating) while, then goes off again after a while. really rotten.

I've not yet encountered the captcha box that asks you to verify pics. If my blog is one of those that's doing this, please let me know!
Love that cart and yes I have had that 'robot' thing for months now, off and on. it is very frustrating especially when the questions are in a foreign language and I have to start guessing!!! One day it may be do it 12 times for 1 person.

So sweet, Felicia! Great shots.
sorry I know nothing about the robot problem, but this can be soon off-putting.
hope you have a great day!

The day is complete if you can click on a goat and a couple young calves.

In our family, we'd say, "Oh look how grass that green is."

Nice pictures - I see always a captcha at your blog too (don't like it!), I have all done to turn it off at my blog, but maybe it is still on? Than let me know please.
Enjoy your day.

I wonder if we have control over the captcha. I don't even know if I have it on mine. I just follow along. Like that first shot. Love old farm equipment.

oh i love these photos and so cute how the little goat is hiding! i haven't had any problems with the captcha thing in a while, hope i didn't just jinx myself...normally i just ignore it and it lets me post but i haven't come across any wanting me to verify a pic, yet!

Lovely pastoral scenes Felicia.

So far I have not experienced the recapture photo problem that aggravates you and many others. I always ignore ticking 'I'm not a robot' and just click publish.
I'm guessing that the 'photo' reCAPTCHA crops up on sites that demand 'verification'. It might help to regularly clear your browser's cache (tempy internet files and cookies).
Wonderful country impressions.

I thought that captcha thing was straightened out a couple years ago as I haven't come across it in a long while. I never had it on my blog so I hope it hasn't magically appeared. I love cows and goats and old wagons and anything country. Lovely photos!
What fun photos! Looks like someone's looking for some shade! heehee!

Always love your photos! I just ignore all that stuff, and leave a comment if something in that blog post really strikes me.

I haven't had to click the robot thing in ages-- on ANY blog. And I AM a robot! Uh.... just kidding.

Felicia, I honestly envy you for your beautiful Big Valley. I probably would take photos all the time!

I think the captcha box is only on Blogger blogs? And if you're coming from a Blogger blog (i.e. have a Google account I think) you don't have to do anything. I think - but am not sure of it.

The Captcha box is annoying but like you said on some blogs you don't have to use it. I don't mind the pictures because at least they are easy to pick out over the old jumbled letters and numbers.

By the way I liked your fence shots very much. That last one was quite nice.

Love your photos and agree that some things seems designed just to annoy us.

Great photos. I have my share of encountering the annoying captcha box too. Sometimes they appear, sometimes they do not.

The goat under the wagon made me laugh! Beautiful photos!

those funny little goats, always getting into trouble and always up to no good!!! cute images!!!
I made the mistake of clicking that captcha box one day...and for the rest of the day every blog I went to made me click it again to post. Now I steer clear of it. I don't know what to think of it, but I don't ever get spam comments anymore, so maybe it works in some way.
That's a smart goat, staying in the shade!

The baby cows are really cute and don't seem to have a care in the world.

I haven't a clue why the captcha box is there. Your guess is as good as mine.

I do so love those cows. Totally cool pattern on them. Have a great weekend Felicia. Carol

I always ignore the captcha boxes and have no trouble commenting by not using them.

verifying those pics is a pain in the you know what, when I see it I just want to close the window and not bother commenting, I can however click on the i'm not a robot button and click enter with no problem but haven't tried not ticking it.

I just ignore the captcha and my comments always seem to go through. Life's too short to waste time on verification! Looks green and idyllic there. Is it hot?

Great photos Felicia! That captcha box is really annoying. It seems I can visit maybe 10-15 blogs and comment without it coming on at all. Then it appears and I can just ignore it until I've visited 10+ or so more blogs. After that, blogger *forces* me to check the boxes if I want to comment. At least that's how I have it figured.

All I could think was ~ Hot Goat! Ha! great shots!!!

Some blogs have moderated comments, they don't seem to have the captcha blocks. Sometimes the whole block can't be seen, or you can't tell what you're looking for, then there's the one that after you check the photo, another pops up in its place. It takes up a lot of time that could otherwise be spent leaving comments.

ha ha, your blog asks me if I am a robot too! :)

Love the goat under the wagon. I once had a goat get on top of my car...not so funny! If I have the captcha on my blog, wish someone would tell me...

I know that a lot of them are inactive even though they appear. I just skip them.
