Favorite Flowers on Friday

I bought a new lens for my Nikon a few weeks ago. So I was trying it out. I'm very pleased with it.  It's the 18-140 and its a nice all around lens to leave on your camera.

The only thing now is I'm getting the macro bug. I may have to buy a macro lens.

Here are some of my favorite flower images from this past week.

I didn't see the spider webs on this columbine till I was editing the image.

I'm linking with Nick for

& Denise for TODAY'S FLOWERS.

Wishing you all a wonderful and safe weekend.

Auto correct strikes again. That should have read "what fun!" :) and not " what's funny" :-0
Divine - naturally!
Great presentation.

Beautiful shots. I like macro very much. I do not have a "true" macro lens as that is 1:1 or higher. Mine has 2:1 magnification and as you know, it does not prevent me from taking close up shots. I have the Sigma 18-250 DSC HSM Macro lens-it is made for crop sensors which is what my Nikon is-cropped sensor.

In case you were wondering:).

Nice images. I like how you've edited them.
Beautiful flower images, Felicia. They are so crystal clear. I have a macro lens for my Nikon but I don't use it often as it is heavy to carry around and must be used with a tripod to get a clear ohoto. Perhaps I'm too impatient a person for Macro photography?

Your photos are gorgeous! Well done. Your new lens is the same one I have on my Nikon D5200 and it came with it. The only thing I don't like about it is the zoom isn't enough for me but it is a good all round lens.
Oh I never get enough of flowers - yours are all so wonderfully beautiful.

Gorgeous spring flower shots.
Oh my goodness, pretty in pink (and white). What beautiful flowers! The bleeding heart brought back such wonderful memories as we haven't seen that plant in real for many years -- it was one of my favorites in my flower garden in Oregon (in our other life, before we sold to travel). Anyway, ever since we've been spending winter and spring here in Florida I haven't seen these and a lot of other spring flowers, because it is too hot.

We do sometimes see dogwood, as they may still be blooming when we get back to Oregon in early July.
Fabulous photos of the different flowers and awesome texture work.
Best regards, Synnöve

The heart-shaped flowers are beautiful. I have a Canon, and the zoom-in lens is pretty nice. I've always wanted a macro lens. The pictures we could take with that. :)
