Snooks Covered Bridge

Pulling some images from the archives again today. Not sure why I haven't shared these yet. I think I just have too many and don't remember what is in the archives.

Anyway these are some images from a road trip we made to Bedford County, Pa. on Aug. 30, 2014. I was hunting for covered bridges.

The first two images are from one side of the bridge, then I crossed over and made the other three images on the other side. This bridge is still open to vehicle traffic.

Here is a LINK for more info on this and other Bedford County covered bridges. I will be sharing a few more but I have not found all the bridges yet.

Sharing with our Texas friend Theresa at Run Around Ranch for the 100th post of

GOOD FENCES. Thanks for hosting Tex,
&

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend. Be safe.

Hi Felicia, what beautiful shots of this covered bridge and fence. A setting like this is a treasure to see. Thank you for sharing. Have a nice weekend ahead. ;)
What beautiful photos. We were talking about PA over dinner tonight, wishing we could travel up there again. The farms are so beautiful and I would love to see more of the covered bridges. Hugs!

There were still a couple covered bridges in WV (where I grew up). Dad would take us out for "Sunday drives." It was always a treat to go across one.

It is a beauty....we have a lot of covered bridges in the county next to us. I don't think I have seen near all of them. Most of them are red. I like the one in white.

I've heard Bedford Co has lots of photo ops, it's just a bit far for a trip for me.

Intriguing views of these covered bridges. And what a beautiful sunny day helping to capture the charm of these icons.
Covered bridges are always a treat ... I love that you can find what you want in your archives to create a new series ... I wish I could figure out how to do mine.
