I've Got Nothing

No new pictures

No snow for Christmas (not complaining just sad, you always need snow for Christmas.)

No sunshine, only rain (again not complaining, just stating the facts)

However, what I do have is many many things to be thankful for. I have my Mom, a warm home, lots of clothes, food, shoes on my feet a job and my Heavenly Father to take care of us.

I have to admit I'm a bit melancholy what with missing Dad and all, but we will make it through.

So I'm wishing each and everyone of you a very MERRY CHRISTMAS and a BLESSED NEW YEAR.

Oh I almost forgot. I also have a very pretty Christmas tree and my best fur buddy to lay under it.

he looks sort of sad too doesn't he.  He doesn't like his picture taken.

Merry Christmas everyone.

God bless Felicia! Though you are bound to miss your dad, remember your Heavenly Father is still caring for you, & I'm glad you are thinking on this in your post.
Your tree is lovely & what a handsome furry friend you have in Tucker, though it does seem he doesn't like a camera pointed at him!
Sending hugs & best wishes for you & your mom this Christmas!

That's a great list, your tree looks lovely all decorated up, hoping you had a lovely xmas :-)
He looks purrfectly content- that's my cat's favorite spot..I wonder sometimes if it is because she feels safe hidden under there. I can't remember if I made it by to say Merry Christmas, so I'll just say Happy Holiday season...it will fly by, and then we will have a new year!

Yes, difficult to truly celebrate special occasions when our loved ones are no longer with us - my best friend has Parkinson's and Dementia so it is especially devastating to watch her gradually disappear. However, the unconditional and everlasting love of our Heavenly Father enables us to carry on. May 2016 be a safe, healthy and happier one for you and your Mother as you look forward but gain comfort from memories of happier times. Blessings

I was 3-for-3 with your beginning list! And yes, we do have so much for which to be thankful. It isn't always something that can be seen or touched. Happy New Year, I look forward to sharing 2016 with you.

Your post reminds me of a song my family and I sing at every one of our concerts, "There's a roof up above me; I have a nice place, to sleep, food on my table, and shoes on my feet. You gave to me your love Lord, and a fine family, and so I thank you Lord for your blessings on me." Blessings to you Felicia!
Your kitty makes a beautiful, if unwilling subject! I am late to the party but of course I wish you a Happy New Year -- and though it was a hard year for you, you have a wonderful attitude. That helps everyone.

To answer your question on FullTime-Life, my husband and I live in Oregon in the summer and Florida in the winter. (More or less -- we stayed in Oregon until the first of December this year, so sometimes it varies). I need to update my "about" page as it is quite out of date. Time for some blog-keeping! (But I'm still catching up on actual house-cleaning since we've gotten back to Florida and that is probably more important).
