Hershey Fences

Afternoon friends.  Happy Thursday.

Sharing a few fences from our Hershey Garden trip yet.

 a peaceful spot to sit.

 another peaceful spot.

The tree in the background by the bridge is a sequoia. Not as big as the ones in CA., but as close as I'll ever get to one.

another view of the tree. There were a few others scattered around too.

they had a metal sculpture exhibit.  I thought this guy was really neat.

We detoured a couple of miles into Big Valley on the way back home and found these two peaceful scenes.

As a kid, I thought using a swather and baler were hard work. Horse power and pitchfork...ohhh my aching back.

Well that garden is definitely on my bucket list. You shared such lovely views of it.

What a beautiful place you shared.
My stars that was one HUGE Praying Mantis - What a cool sculpture.
Loved the last 2 shots. Reminded me so much of the movie, Witness starring Harrison Ford.

I really like all of these...that praying mantis is awesome, and I would love to have the opportunity to sit on that bench. But I absolutely love the farm scenes.

I enjoyed all your pictures but when you said Hershey, I wanted chocolate. Small problem I have.

The moss is beautiful. Mine is beginning to grow along my water garden but I want it to grow faster...the instant gratification thing.

You made my day when you showed Haflingers (the blonde ones with white manes) working the hay fields. I use to have one and they are the most gentle giant ponies I have met. I miss mine but got my horse fix for the day. Thank you.

I love your rural scenes, but really like the praying mantis sculpture, too. I'd want a fence between it and me, it looks quite scarey being so large.

A fine series thatI I found interesting. The haying process looked like yesterday's approaches to me. Perhaps I'm not up-to-date! :-)
