A Weekend Two-fer

Good evening friends.  Hope you have had a good week.

Sharing some images tonight I have had in the archives for a while.

Found this old Chevy while cruising the backroads. Too bad it's parked in this old shed.

There is a reflection in there. Do you see it?

I applied the bleach bypass preset in Lightroom to this image. I really like how it came out.

I happened to be outside on the deck one evening when I seen this really unusual cloud over the tree tops.  I first thought it was some smoke but it was definitely a wispy cloud. I'm trying to remember if we had some rain earlier in the evening or not.

Perhaps someone out there may know if this type of formation has a name or not. If you do please comment.

Anyway it was really cool looking.

Stop over and visit both meme's.  Hope everyone has a safe and happy weekend.

Every time I see an unusual cloud I resolve to learn more about them ... And I never do. Sigh. So much to learn, so many wonders! I will just settle for saying these are great photos ... And I'll try to remember to come back to read what the experts tell you.

That is one unusual cloud. If I saw something like that, I'd think there was a fire nearby.

Love the old Chevrolet Impala in the shed picture!

That cloud looks like the kind you get when you rub an old lamp just before the Jeanie pops out! :)
An interesting looking cloud formation and a lovely old car. Have a lovely weekend.

In 1963 when I was 7, my dad's brand new Chevy Impala was stolen while we were inside Church!!! It was near Christmas and my parents had stored our Christmas/Santa Claus presents in the trunk of the car!!! Any time I see a vintage Chevy, I wonder...... lol
Love the cloud, really interesting.

I do see the reflection, and I love that shot. As well as the cloud...did you know there is a Cloud Appreciation Society? There are, or used to be lots of photos there...I don't remember if they gave details of what kind of clouds they were or not.

Check it out here

I like the shot of the old Chevy. With your picture one can imagine how the rest of the car would like. A fascinating cloud.

Greats Chevy shot!

I went through "The Book of Clouds" by John A. Day, but could not find any clouds looking like the ones you captured. Could it be that it was smoke after all, blown up and about by the wind?

Very nice photo, Felicia!
I consider it a good fortune to be able to witness such unusual things.
What kinda car is that - a Bel Air?
Have a Beautiful Weekend!
Peace :)
Great shot of the old car Felicia and I do see the reflection in the rear view mirror! I thought the cloud photo was of a murmuration of starlings, very interesting shot!

Very strange cloud - looks like the sky s giving birth to a tornado!

We had wispy clouds yesterday..I was wondering if it was because of the cold front that moved through. Cool shot!

Great cloud formation - I thought it was smoke too
Wow--this is an unusual cloud! It does look like smoke, but maybe it was a type of funnel cloud?
