Sunday Meeting

We were on our way to church one Sunday morning in November of 2014 when we passed this Amish farm where they were having church.

I made Dad stop and go back. Not sure why I had my camera, don't usually carry it to church with me but I'm glad I had it that morning.

I betcha it ain't easy to park like that using horses. :-)
That is very neat...not something we get to see this far South. Enjoy your week! Hugs!

These Amish must be a bit progressive, what with electric lights on the buggies and overhead garage doors. The place is as neat as a pin! Thanks for linking up this week. Tom The Backroads Traveller

I have got some shots like this, only in snow and at a white farm house. Not near as good as these though.

The Amish lifestyle has always fascinated me. Wonderful pics. Kind of sad that the State made them put those ugly reflectors on the back of their buggies, but I guess it's all about safety.

That's awesome to see - they lined up their carriages so perfectly.

Great shots! Glad you brought your camera along! I brought my camera to an event the other day...but forgot to bring the memory card--which was not fun since my camera has no internal memory! Oh well, I'll get 'em next time :)

One of my father's old saying sprang immediately to mind - tidy habits depict a tidy mind. He would have been very impressed by those buggies. Needless to say he despaired of my habits when I was a teenager! Great photos!

Nice captures! I like the last shot. I often take my camera on our drive to church as there might be something to photograph along the way.
That is so wonderful. Another world existing side by side with ours! We saw something like this in Ohio.
