Pussywillows ~ Nope Japanese Fantail Willow

UPDATE ~ I have discovered these are Japanese Fantail Willow.
Thank you Google

Made my first visit of the year to the arboretum.  There wasn't much there. The did have some big planter's with tulips (I'll share those later) and these funky looking pussywillows. They don't look like conventional pussywillows but I think that's what they are.

Beautiful close ups of whatever this willow is. Could it be curly willow? Do they have blooms like that?

Oh wow! Great shots--they are very interesting and neat-looking plants. We have willows at our place, but they're nothing like this; most likely because Japanese willows aren't very common here in Iowa! Don't think I've ever seen one. Thanks for sharing!
