Halter Fence

Hi friends. It's Thursday, time for Good Fences with our hostess Theresa at Run Around Ranch.

Right across the road from the horseshoe fence in my last Good Fences post I found another interesting fence....the halter fence.

Both the horses in the field behind the fence already had halter's on so maybe it was just there for decoration.

Another perspective of the horseshoe fence

and an interesting fence post with barb wire.

Let me just say here that all these fences including the horseshoe fence are on an Amish farm.  They like to use alot of barb wire which makes for interesting images.

And how lucky could I get.....while I was standing there, here they came.

Makes for a downright purty picture doesn't it?

Oh and btw....we had a bumper crop of dandelions again this year, some of which you can see in this image.

Next week I'll share some more dandelions and fences.

Make sure you stop over and visit TEX at RUN AROUND RANCH to see more

GOOD FENCES.

I'm so over Thursday fences...but thrilled you wrapped them with beauty and character. That's the way to do them. Kudos

Felicia, honestly you captured the most gorgeous photos! Who'd have thought barbed wire would be so interesting! But you do make it look like a lasso!
Fantastic to have the Amish buggy rounding the corner too!

Hi Felicia, your pics are always amazing. Love the fences and the items left behind or a decoration like you said. Great to see the Amish buggy trotting down the lane. When I lived in Indiana and Ohio, we had many Amish around us.
Nice post.
Have a great weekend.
Hugs, CM

Lovely rural scenes!
These fences show us the character of the whole landscape, and maybe the attitude of the people who live there too. Nice ones!

MARVELOUS JOB ON YOUR PRESENTATION. I LOVE ANYTHING AROUND THE AMISH WORLD. I THINK THEY ARE SO INTERESTING. SOMEONE PROBABLY FORGOT THEY HUNG THE HALTER AND NOW WONDERING WHAT THEY DID WITH IT.
Barbed wire is so interesting -- the history of it in the west is fascinating. And the buggy -- and the green; there could not be a lovelier picture.
