Frosty Fotos

Sharing some images I made on April 1st. after we had the snowfall.

I found a big bush with these little purple berries on them.  The sun shining through the bush made some beautiful backlight.  I didn't get quite the shot I wanted with the berries as the autofocus was a bit confused by all the twigs and I didn't feel like trying to focus manually.  However it made for some beautiful bokeh.

Same photo with a texture applied. Which one do you like best?

Beautiful bokeh, I like it!
I like surprises and I don't expect to see snow on fresh berries. Well, they look fresh to me! Beautiful images. I love bokeh and don't think your shot needs anything extra. It's perfect.

The frost/snow sure adds a particular beauty to nature's offerings. I prefer the original shot of the berries.

The frost adds that little 'something' to the shots and I love the outcome. I like the edited version a lot.
Gorgeous photos! They do look a bit alien to my now, we are have such sunny warm weather.

about the berries, in this particular image I think the beautiful BOKEH is enough. No texture really needed.

But why not linkup with NF DAM tomorrow? Same place as Catching light. :)
