Still Winter

Evening friends. Winter is hanging on in Pa.  As I mentioned yesterday March  came in like a lion and we are to have more wintry mix weather tomorrow.

I have some more winter landscapes to share, hope you don't mind.

These are some of the sights I see as i travel our back roads and byways.

pristine barns across snowy meadows.

roads leading to more pretty country scenery

snow covered trees and rugged mountains.

corn shocks and looooooong country roads winding down the valleys.

queen annes lace dressed in winter garb.

and then I smile real big when I find a treasure like this tucked away in the trees.

Some of the sights in Pennsylvania where its......still winter.

Beautiful, beautiful snow scenes. The red barns look brilliant against the snow, but I think my favourite is the Queen Anne's lace shot.

I was ready to call the moving truck. Then I remembered the cold that goes with all that beauty. (I DID enjoy the 85 at the beach this past weekend...he thinks)

The stark contrast between the white and the red is fantastic - it looks cheerful. The Queen Anne is so beautiful in its winter dress. We never see it like this here.
As usual, stunning photos. It's always so nice to come here.

These are such pretty scenes! Love the red barns, especially that little one hidden in the trees. It looks so peaceful there. Best of luck with your new position! xo Karen
Oh Felicia! I don't think I've seen prettier winter scenes anywhere else like yours. Those red barns really stand out in the white snow. Best of luck in your new job. I worked the 3-11 shift as a nurse on and off but I mainly worked the 11pm to 7am shift --my favorite hours as I could work while my children were sleeping and sleep while they were at school.
