Big Valley Fences ~ Part 17

Good morning everyone. I almost forgot today was Thursday.

Now how in the world could I almost forget GOOD FENCES?????

Well we won't go there.

On to today's dose of Big Valley Fences.  You can click on the image to view bigger.

found these little amish children sled riding one day. It's hard to see but the sled they were pushing up the hill looked to be a type of home made wood bobsled.

I had never noticed the red door on this barn before, but it sure stands out in the snow.

One big sweeping view of the valley in winter

and one in autumn.

Fabulous views. The snow makes everything look so crisp and clean but I'd like to travel that road to see where it takes me.

Oh I love the last image of the road with the gorgeous landscape on either side of the road and the distant shot of the cows. Your snowy shots are beautiful too, looks like the tail end of winter snow.

I'm still holding out for spring even though there's snow in the forecast tonight and tomorrow. Sheesh! And I live in the so-called "south". :)

Your big vally scenes are beautiful, with lots of interesting things to see, and also lots of fences. I liken your winter scenes to the ones I sometimes see on Christmas cards, especially with children playing.
Just beautiful Felicia!:)

oh wow these are just awesome!
you've got some great locales.
Such a beautiful valley - love the smoke rising from the chimneys and the kids sledding. xo K
Love those top two shots with the smoke drifting lazily away telling of warmth inside, away from all that snow. The red in your images always catches my eye even when I have to look closely to identify the little red triangles on the buggies. I presume they are the equivalent of reflector lights.

Fantastic work, Felicia.
I particularly like the colors on the otherwise 'normal' barn. The view of the valley is perfect like a greeting card.
Have a Beautiful Day!
Peace :)

Love that first shot Felicia, you'd think it was taken 'back in the day' as there is not a modern convenience in sight. Love those wee children and their sled!
