Barn Mish Mash
Sharing an assortment of barn images from last summer and early fall.
These are all fairly small barns except the last one.

small for your part of the country would probably be pretty large for texas. :)

Pretty photos. Love the rock foundation.

That road in the last image is quite cracked but makes for nice photography leading your eyes to that gorgeous red barn. I love the small design near the roof in the second last shot. Are the barns in the second and third shot the one of the same? Did you take these shots at different angles? I do love the rock stone wall beneath the barn.

What Karen Sees
I have always loved barns, especially red ones. I especially like your last image with the road leading right to the barn.

Really a nice collection :)
I love the second to last, it's put neatly into the landscape and draped with trimmed bushes.
Have a beautiful day

I really like the functional architecture of barns and older farming buildings. Built to do a job and built to last.

Hello Felicia, wonderful collection of barns. And most of them are my favorite color "red" Great shot, have a happy day!

The style of the gray barn with the overhang is interesting, we don't see this is our area. The next brown barn is great with it's stone foundation and the cel tower isn't in the first image. The last red barn is as pretty as a picture. Tom The Backroads Traveller

I love barns but seldom see them in the middle of suburbia.

A fine collection of interesting barns. Large or small they all seem unique. I especially like the one that was on two levels. A fine post.

A nice collection of barns. So nice to see so many that are in good shape!

I'm trying to imagine having the need for a barn and things to fill it with. I think I would go for the metal barn since wood eventually ages, though they do have a lot of charm and make good landmarks. I'm glad spring is slowly coming to your area.
