Abandoned

Been awhile since I joined Black & White Wednesday, so today I thought I would join in.

An overgrown doorway to an abandoned house in my hometown.

What a great black and white photo,.. I almost wrote sketch then, because it does remind me of a pencil or charcoal drawing.
Well done!:)
Lots to see and feel from the outside and lots to wonder how the inside looks.
Love it! :)
Have a beautiful day

Terrific shot! Polar opposite of what I did on my blog today, but I like it just as much.

Wow, this capture is superb! I once had a door myself with a bottom like that-- although I promise we changed it quickly. Someone's dog actually chewed through our garage door!

Very nice!

The color version of this image could never evoke the same emotion that the B&W version can.
A lovely photo, Felicia - if only doors could speak! xo Karen

very nice B&W!

B&W really suits this photo! I think colour would make it look too busy. I have tons of photos I really SHOULD convert to B&W for the same reason. Good choice!

This is a wonderful shot. Old doors and windows and old houses always leave me wondering what happened to their people.
Abadoned, but what a beautiful capture. Hope someone sees its beauty and does something positive with it. Thanks for sharing. #BlackandWhiteWednesdays

I love the feel of it. Abandoned make me think of the lives of those who lived there before.

Such a great contribution! Love the texture of the aged wood and the reflection captured in the glass is the icing on the cake! Thanks for linking up!
