Flying Flowers

Thought I would share a little summer sunshine on this cold winter night.

From our trip to Hershey Flower Garden last summer. I want to go back again this year.

I'm sorry I didn't look up the names of these gorgeous critters.

This one was sitting still on the red flower but his wings were moving.

And finally a real flower....a beautiful rose.

Have a lovely week.

Really beautiful! That second butterfly is just gorgeous. What an amazing Creator who thought up all this design in critters most never notice.

Just beautiful, Felicia! I think the second one is some type of Swallowtail, and the next two are Yellow Sulphurs (I think). Your Rose is gorgeous!
you're right...lovely creatures.

Oh la! These are wonderful macros Felicia.. The markings on butterflies have always fascinated me in with their perfect symmetry, as for the rose, I can almost smell it's perfume.
