Winter Storm Watch

We are under a winter storm watch for Wednesday.  They are calling for 3-6 inches and while this is not really major, at least compared to some storms that have already occured, I'm excited because its our first snow.....at least where I live.

The image of the barn below dressed in its winter garb was made on November 26, 2012.

I think its rather neat that...hopefully I will be able to make another image of the barn on
November 26, 2014.

The image below is how the barn looked dressed in its fall garb on October 30, 2014.

Quite a bit of difference in about a month huh? Interesting the car is parked in the same spot too.

The red and the white just look fabulous! It would be fun if you could take a similar photo this 26th as well!

The first snow is always exciting. That red barn makes a great setting for a snowy day.

Both photos are very pretty but I must admit that I prefer spring, summer and fall to winter. I don't like being cold.

I love your fall shot. The trees are lovely! Hope you get lots of the white stuff. I'm crossing my fingers that our mountains get some snow. I want to skiing! (well, when my foot is healed...)

I love how you show the red barn in the change of seasons.

A month can make a huge difference this time of the year. I hope you get a nice snowfall rather than a major storm.

What a contrast, but both beautiful in their own way.

Beautiful pictures both in autumn and winter "clothe".
A beautiful barn in both seasons! Love the trees framing the photo. Hope you get your snowy shot! :)
Nice to see the differences in seasons :)
And I hope you won't get struck too hard. I wish you a nice load worth taking a picture of :)

I admit that I love snow but I am sad that it's going to snow when so many people will be traveling to visit relatives.

Both are fine shots and very interesting because of the comparison in contrast. Nice shooting.

Das gleiche Motiv, aber zwei verschiedene Fotos. Ich mag den Herbst. Die bunten Blätter beleben das Bild.

Great shots, Felicia! Love the snowy pic the most. For some reason I love red barns/buildings.

I love the barn in snow and autumn colours too. We're in line for the same storm system tomorrow night and might get a good foot of snow. Right now we have none at all. I'll look forward to seeing your new photo of the barn after this storm. ;)
