Morning friends. Happy weekend to you.
I wanted to do this post last night but either blogger was not cooperating or I was having internet connectivity problems. Seems to be ok today so here goes.
When fall comes knocking on our door I love to go back into the mountains. We have some state forests close to our house.
On October 5 we ventured back into Poe Paddy State Park. I had a specific spot in mind. It was a mostly cloudy day which gave soft light.
Now I want you to take notice to the green tree on the left side of the two images directly above here. All the other trees around it are already turning yellow. These images were made about 3:30 in the afternoon.
Oh and in all the above images I am standing on the creek bed because you can see the water is pretty low.
The image below was made on October 19th about 3:15 in the afternoon, almost from the same vantage point but I'm not in the creek bed or I would be standing in water because we had some heavy rains and that rain brought down most of the leaves.
However take notice to the only tree in the image with leaves on it....you cannot miss it. It is the same green tree as in the above images.
What an amazing difference. Oh and the light is quite different too.
Linking with WEEKEND REFLECTIONS.
Next week I will share some more images from this beautiful state park.
