Autumn Barns

This is my neighbors barn so I don't have to go far to see this pretty view. It doesn't look like this now though....the yellow leaves are long gone as this image was made Sept. 29th.

Found this beauty tucked up against the base of the mountain about 10 miles down the road from my house.  It was a rainy dreary day which to me made the colors more soft and pretty yet vibrant.

Sad thing is...I believe it to be unused as you can see from how grown up it is.  There is a house off to the left which did not look lived in either.

All beautiful, but that first photo is just so idyllic! How nice to see that view often.

I love both shots. Nice job of using the roads to lead the eye to the barns

Wow those landscapes are all so beautiful. We don't have your four seasons so our trees just changed from green to also green, only very few are deciduous. thanks.

That's an awesomely beautiful view! The road looks a bit rough, but sometimes the less visited, quiet places are the most lovely!

The barns have so much charm!!

I especially liked the old weathered barn tucked away near the hillside. I agree the rainy misty day makes it all the more quiet and soft.
Beautiful shots! Fall really looks wonderful in your photos!=)

Yes it is such a shape to see beautiful buildings unused. I often wonder why anyone would do such a thing. You had some lovely Autumn colours Felicia.

I love the first photo Felicia. The second one is a beautiful setting but sad to see that the barn and farm is in neglect. Beautiful photos!

It is a shame about the deserted barn but it still holds great beauty...the other one goes without saying :)

Great photos and it is so sad when properties are abandoned...barn or house. Perhaps the family all have lives of their own and have no interest it keeping it alive...:)JP

What elegant autumn barn shots, Felicia♡♡♡
I wish I could walk with that nature; and you said 'rainy dreary day made the colors more soft and pretty yet vibrant' but it won't work beautifully like this for me :-)
