Simply Tucker

Today I want you to meet by best buddy.

Tucker James. He is a shelter cat adopted a few months after I had to have my blue point siamese put down for kidney failure. She was almost 22. I didn't think I wanted anymore cats, but it wasn't long before I changed my mind....and I'm glad I did.

He's on the bottom of the recliner now as I'm typing this post.

Hi everyone my name is Tucker James

 On chipmunk patrol

But this is what he does best.

I have a pic of him when he was tiny, right after I got him. It's a paper image so I  have to scan it first.  Someday I'll share a before and after, he weighs around 23 lbs now.

Linking with SATURDAYS CRITTERS.

Stop over and give Eileen a word of encouragement, she just lost one of her beloved dogs.

Mr. Tucker James, me and the family love you as if you were ours.

Chipmunk patrol? Now wait a fur ball minute here, HOLD the catnip - no eating or stalking those chippies,'cause Mom loves them too. you silly putty-cat.

Take a nice cat nap and dream of you and Chippie being best buds.

Heaps of Hugs
Prudence ♥

He's very handsome! I think that is what all cats do best. :-)

I am in love with his name. Tucker James... that name belongs in a great piece of literature. It has that 'ring' to it.

And almost 22 years? Wow! I know what that's like. Our cats were 20 and 18 years old when they passed. Wendy passed in July of last summer, and I'm still getting used to not having a cat about my feet.

He certainly is not starving in his new home, lol ! You are right, once you lived with a cat, a house without cat seems so empty ! He looks so cozy !

A big and great cat. Ours are not as heavy as him, but they still weigh a bit too much for their health.
Have a nice day

Tucker looks adorable Felicia.. I have to try and be brave like you. My gorgeous pussy cat died of kidney failure too, it broke my heart and as yet I just haven't been brave enough to adopt again.. I must! Looking forward to seeing baby Tucker :)

I like dogs but I love cats. I am still mourning the loss of my huge Maine Coon Chrissy earlier this year. It looks like your new kitty is a keeper.

He is one handsome boy....we say one/two of our cats are now fluffy! They all three eat the same food, and two just keep growing.
