Thunderhead and a Fence

With the return of humidity to our area today, we had thunderheads popping up this afternoon.

When I was on my way home from work this particular one drew my attention so I stopped to capture some images.

Then I realized there was fences and a barn and even the horses down in the corner of the last image.

In the time I made the first image till the last image....the cloud changed shape. It just billowed so high in the air....just beautiful.

You have to be fast, as cloud do change very quickly. You did an excellent following them along the fence line.

I would not normally say this on a post meant to show fences, but ---forget the fences. The clouds are gorgeous all by themselves.

Well, I must say that this view is breathtaking, excellent images, love those clouds. It reminds me of an old oil painting by one of those famous artists.

I never heard the term "thunderhead" before Felicia but I can see what it means. Great clouds but I hope it didn't drop too much rain.

I love those moody cloud shapes. Beautiful!!
You got it all in those pictures -- beautiful rural landscape, neat fences, stunning clouds in the beautiful blue sky. Those changing fluffy white clouds are so great -- they remind me of being a kid and just lying in the grass looking up and dreaming!

These photos remind me so much of our drives through the country on Sunday afternoons. I love how relaxing it is and am amazed to find similar images as these so close to the city. Great SWF photos!

A fine series showing the development of this thunderhead. The tops of thunderheads rises to great heights where hail can be formed.

They are pretty impressive clouds Felicia, did they amount to any rain in the end? Wonderful rural scenes here.
