NatureFootstep ~ Winged

A meme for posting anything with wings, I'm linking today with

Why don't you stop over and join the fun.

The other day when I captured the images of the assassin bug, this little guy was flitting around on some flowers close by.  I tried to google to find the name but I'm not sure if it's a moth or butterfly.

Any help to id this creature would be appreciated.

Super close up Felicia.

I think this is a Silver-spotted Skipper (Epargyreus clarus).

It's a Silver Spotted Skipper...I think, they are butterflies. I always have to go look at a friend's blog to find out what they are.

A moth...Skipper...:)JP
Frank is right.

Silver-spotted skipper.

There is some disagreement about whether a skipper is a butterfly, moth, or its own kind of thing.

A great picture of this tadpole.
Beautiful color and very beautiful drawing on the wings!
I don't know what it is either and I'm sure somebody already told you (I'm catching up here obviously). It's a wonderful pic. I'm so old and slow I usually can't catch these guys. Glad you could.
Don't know what kind it is but it's very pretty, great macro Felicia!
