White Caterpillar

I found this little fellow clinging to some greenery along the road.

I tried to google white caterpillar to see what kind it was and didn't get very far.


One website said possibly a Virginian Tiger Moth but I'm not sure.

Good capture.. it is hard to identify some of these guys.. those little hairs can sting so birds don't want to eat them and people don't want to pick them up.. Thank you for linking into Nature Notes...I won't include your photo in the collage as it is protected...Michelle
