Thorny Macro's ~ Updated

A variety of thorny subjects today.

it also get's tiny purple flowers on it and then later it turns brown.

We had the same thistle-"love" for this Makro-Monday. I like especially the first and last pictures.

Great spiky shots! I have to pull up too many thistles to like them very much, though I found that they have a lovely fragrance. But I dearly love Eryngiums, they are so cute and have such interesting metallic colors.
