Stone Arch Bridge

Over the 7 mountains and past Big Valley....(yup we're not going there today) lies Lewistown.

At the far end of Lewistown, spanning Jack's Creek is....well, just about the prettiest stone arch bridge I've ever seen.

It was built in 1813 and fully restored in 2005.  It is one of a few bridges in Pennsylvania built without a keystone.  If you are interested, you can find a bit more information HERE.
I need to go back and update my images of it. The one on the website above is really pretty.

Here is my rendition of it.

I think you can see why it is a very popular place for wedding photography and the such. In face I did some senior pictures here for a young lady one year.

Your stone arch bridge is gorgeous, it casts a spell over the whole landscape around! Or would you write: it ensorcels the whole landscape around??? Sorry, I'm not a native speaker of English! ;-)
