Little Pine State Park

We went on a daytrip to Little Pine State Park on Saturday.  This park is located in the North Central Mountains of Pennsylvania.

I must admit I was a little surprised by how rural it was, but the scenery was gorgeous.

 my parents enjoying the view.

The mountain folk had a lot of vintage decorations around too.

I think the price on the pumps is 26 & 30 cents but couldn't say for sure.
Oh and check out the old coke machine in the back....the kind where you put in your money
then opened the door and pulled a bottle out of a slot. Anyone remember those.
There is a modern one hidden behind the pump on the right.

I think it's a Texaco. what do you think?

Some one was pretty handy with a chain saw too.....yikes.

Looks kind of like where I live in rural VA. I love the tree and the old gas pump best. Those chainsaw seats are wild.

What pretty scenery- I love the beautiful green mountains rolling towards the water. The old barn is wonderful. Oh, I remember those old coke machines - back in the day when things were on the 'honor' system. Great old gasoline pumps, too. So nice to spend the day with your folks. xo Karen

Beautiful area! Hubs grew up in Williamsport. He took me back there a couple of years ago. Before that I didn't know PA was such a beautiful state. Love the gas pump. I think you are right about it being from Texaco. Thanks for linking up!
Beautiful countryside, isn't it. Pennsylvania is a gorgeous state. And huge. These are great photos.

I lived in PA before moving to CO late in the 80's. I don't think I've ever been in this area though. I'm old enough to remember those old gas pumps and vending machines (ancient)! Your photos show the charm of a bygone era.
Beautiful park and great photos of the old gas pump and Coke machine, those are some cool antiques!
