Country Fences

Just a few simple country fences today.

I like how the grass was growing around the wire and the two different fence posts.

And of course I'm linking with Theresa over at Run Around Ranch

it looks like the old fence post was not doing its job and they had to use the metal with it. love the photos. and the last one is beautiful.

Aren't old fence posts grand? I have a flower vase that was crafted from an old chestnut fence post...cool! Tom The Backroads Traveller

Oh yes, I like that too. Very relaxing place to visit.
Where I was last weekend (Amador County) these fences were most common - I quite like it, because they don't break up the view!
Ohhh that beautiful green grassy pasture is gorgeous. We are so dry and brown here, thanks for the burst of color :)

beautiful shots, love the greens in the grass! on a sad note, was the story you were talking about a teacher that was hit with a boulder thrown from the overpass? so sad and scary... :(
i love that third picture. It makes me want to take a walk along a country road.

That rotten old post is struggling to keep up with the task in hand Felicia. I know how it fels sometimes!
I love that last fence! Just the right angle to get the leaning fence and pretty grasses! Enjoy your day!

Sometimes the wire is still good but the wooden post rots so a metal post is added for support.
