Hummers

No, not the monstrous vehicle,  but Ruby Throated Hummingbirds.

They are amazing little creatures and once in awhile if I am patient enough I can get some so so captures from the feeders on our front deck.

This particular late evening they were very active in their feeding.

I have never been able to get a close up of the males. But I will keep on trying.

I'm linking with Wild Bird Wednesday

and

Nature Notes.

Stop over to see more wild birds and beautiful nature photos.

Those are brilliant pictures Felicia. The last one is especially good and it can't be easy to stop the action with those little things moving so fast.

Your little hummingbirds must feel very comfortable at your feeder. I truly believe that they become less nervous with caring humans. Photos are award winners.

The hummers in my area have been playing games this spring...now you see 'em...now you don't! They all but disappeared for a month or so but are just now making their appearances again. Your "so-so" images as you call them are more like "wow-wow" to me! These are awesome captures!
