A Barn and a Fence
The "round barn" as it is referred to by us locals.
Designed by Calvin Neff in 1910 and built by Aaron Thomas, the Neff Round Barn is located on State Rte 45 about 1 mile west of Centre Hall, Pa. It was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979. It is still used to store hay and farm equipment but that is all.
I won't bore you with all the details of the structure but if you are interested you can learn more HERE.
It is one of the most well known landmarks in Centre County and may I even say the state of Pa and gets photographed alot. There is even a photo of it in the July issue of Country Extra Magazine.
As it is only a few miles from my home I have quite a few images of it.
I'm linking up with Run Around Ranch for Good Fences.
Make sure you stop over for more terrific fences.
